Placing Microsoft Word Document onto PowerPoint

How do I place a Microsoft Word Document onto a PowerPoint presentation?

I am also saving the PowerPoint presentation on a CD ROM, so I will want my
audience to be able to click on the Word document and read it.

I've tried this before and have been unsuccessful. What do I need to do?

Thanks,

Mark

Assuming the end user actually has Word installed on their computer, what I
would do is:

1. Put the Word document in the same folder as your presentation
2. Put some sort of image on the desired slide that has some "bullets" about
the document.
3. Right-click the image and select "Action Settings".
4. Click the
5. Hyperlink to" dropdown and select "Other file".
6. Browse to and select your Word document.
7. Make sure the "Highlight click" checkbox is selected at the bottom left
of the Action Settings dialog box and click "OK".

Try that out to see how it works for you.
