Ports to be open for Project Pro and PWA

O

OK

Hi,
We have a special training room. Its network isolited from other parts of
the network. Project Web access and Project Pro 2007 will be run on the
computers in this room.
Project Server 2007 is installed on a server outside this class.

Question: Which ports should we open on a firewall in this class in order to
communicate between Project clients and Project Server?

Thanks.

If you open up for normal HTTP traffic, you should be good to go. The
communication is via regular web services, so you can specify what ports you
want this communication to occur on (this can be set from with in Project
Pro 2007 via Tools->Enterprise Options->Microsoft Office Project Server
Accounts). Note that the url and the port will have to match what you have
configured your Sharepoint site to listen to.

Hope this helps,

Yes, I see about the port 80 for PWA.
My question was more about Project Pro. If it uses the same HTTP traffic,
it's fine !

Thanks for your answer.
