Power Point wont hold format

A Power Point presentation that a client is currently working on, will not
retain formats. Fonts and font sizes keep changing, bullets appear where
there were none. The document can be changed, saved under a different file
name, re-opened and none of the "saved" changes are there. Any suggestions
from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Are there more than one master slide (or master slide pair) in the file? If
so, make sure that the one used most frequently is the first one on the
list. That should help.
