PowerPoint 97 - Grouping Objects

Is there a limit to how many objects you can group in PowerPoint 97? I am
having problems trying to group more than 4.

You should be able to group more than 4 objects. What are the objects you are
trying to group? What happens when you try?

It could be that you're trying to group text in a text placeholder that's on
the master.
Duplicate the text box and should be able to group it.
