Have you installed the Service Pack 1 for Office 2003? Go to Help > Check for
Updates and follow the links.

Also, it would be best to save the email attachment to your hard drive and then
open it. If you just open it from email, modify it and then save it, you run
the risk of saving to your Temp folder and then not being able to find it
because you don't know where it is.

Open PowerPoint and go to the Help menu. Choose Check for Updates. Follow
the instructions to install Service Pack 1. That fixes almost all
problems like this. Basically, PowerPoint 2003 was broken out of the box,
so they had to scramble to put out this fix. Fortunately, it seems to
take care of this problem (and it is free).

Along with what Sonia and David are suggesting, I would highly recommend that
your co-worker remove all the spaces from the path of the presentation and also
shorten it.

Er, um. The path that CeeCee quoted is her own Temp folder on her system.
Windows names the folder, i.e. \Documents and Settings. <G> When you open an
attachment from Outlook Express, it is read into your \Temporary Internet Files
folder.
