I want to prevent people from being able to print out my presentation. They
will still be able to watch on-screen, but not waste a lot of paper.

Is it possible?

Leif,
Only way I know of is to use IRM (Information Rights Management) for that
you must have an IRM server up and running. Not that obvious, but if you are
interested.

I just see someone using a PowerPoint to flash converter to protect
his presentation from being copied at will.
I do think this solution also works for you.

A flash presentation can play within a web brower when it is clicked on
but viewer can not modify, copy or print at will.
