PPT won't automatically update links to Excel Chart

I am working on a PPT where I have inserted Excel Chart
Objects. The problem is when I open my PPT presentation,
the values do not automatically update. I have to select
each object and update them.

I have the objects set to "Automatic" update and I have
even tried writing a macro that will do this, but I can't
find the name to use to make it run automatically when I
open PPT.

Anyone have any suggestions?
