PPXP to PP2003 Issue. Odd Character.

One of my clients has some documents created in PPXP. Now, when she opens
them in PP2003, she gets, "a sqwiggly number three in the middle of each
page." I've never encountered this before. Any ideas?

Have her/him change to the Master View and then use the Tab key to select
one object after the other. Just delete (or move) the "3" when it's
selected. But I don't think this is a Problem of different PowerPoint
versions. That must have been inserted there by someone, maybe
inadvertedly.

Best regards,
Ute
