Preserving indents when copying to Excel

Is there an easy way to preserve the indenture structure of activity names
when copying them into Excel?

Yes, use my Export hierarchy to Excel macro which you can find here:
http://masamiki.com/project/macros.htm
It may require modification to do exactly what you want, but it works.

Technique I've used, without a macro, is to export to html, via the
wizard use the 'entry' as base template - this will give you the
indentation in the html file created. Copy into excel.
As you go through he wizard save the template - bound to be used
again.
