Printing email with attachment

P

PeteD

Hi,

I'm trying to print an email sent to me in HTML format
with attachment and to my surprise I can't see any
information printed that the email has an attachemnt with
it. I tested it with RTF format, and the attachment
information is there on the printed email. Is this
normal? Is there a workaround?.

Thanks
PeteD

Outlook does not consistently print the attachment list for HTML messages.
Other format messages should be OK. According to Microsoft, this can be
fixed for OUtlook 2000 by applying one of the updates discussed at
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=271562. I haven't had a chance to try
these myself.

Anotehr solution is the Print on Demand utility from
http://www.sperrysoftware.com/jcPrintOnDemand.asp, which adds two new
buttons to print the message with the attachment names appended and to print
just the attachments.

The workaround is to print in Plain Text or RTF instead. There are other
means of printing though and one i by using the following add-in from Sperry
Software;
