Printing graphics in Word for Mac from Word for PC

A client created a document on a PC using MS Word 2000. It has multiple
graphics in it. When opened in Word for Mac X, the graphics can be seen when
editing the document but when opened in print preview the graphics are gone
and also do not print. Any ideas.

Suzanne:

I've got an interesting variant problem. I have a Mac PowerBook G4 running
MS Word X for the Mac. When I create a document and use standard bullets
(the black dots) any page using bullets will NOT print and this holds true
for both a Canon S520 Printer and an HP All in one unit at home.

If I change the dots to the open bullets (small circles) for some reason the
page prints fine.

I find I have the same problem if I use a single line rule as a graphic
device on a page. Take it out the page prints find. Leave it in....nothing
happens.

So as noted I have found a round-about kludge solution to the above problem
but can't figure out if the failure to print is a function of the software or
the printer.

On Word X, I should also note, the Tools Menu does NOT have an Options choice.
