Printing Labels In Publisher

I have designed a label in Publisher but only want to print one label at a
time. On a sheet of 6 labels, or any sheet, is there a way to keep Publisher
from printing the design on all but one of the labels?

I do this frequently. Instead of using a wizard (the paint-by-number
approach), simply create a new label or copy the existing one to a new
publication. Then just position the label to match the location on the
sheet. Use either the measurements box to specify the location for each
label or drag it to the correct spot.

Sorry Ron, but the wizard is not a 'paint by numbers' option.. when used
with Avery paper products, it produces great results and they are infinitely
customizable..

I don't think I said anything about using an Avery supplied wizard with
Word. No need to be so sensitive. I was specifically referring to the use of
wizards in Publisher which tend to limit a users choices. While wizards can
be a useful learning tool for a beginner, far too many users (and reviewers)
think that is the only way possible to accomplish any task with Publisher.

And this is why MS Publisher outsells programs like Serif's PagePlus.. users
like the wizards because it saves them having to learn anything or RTFM or
RTFHFs.. Serif's first versions didn't have wizards but they learned quite
quickly to include them.. go to the office.misc newsgroup and see how many
ask for templates for the most simplest of things.. I find it quite scary..

Re. labels, wizards take out the hit or miss approach to text positioning
over an entire page.. I hate wizards at a personal level, but the Avery
wizard for MS Word is just too good to give up.. :)
