Printing mail merges

Printing a mail merge to a a mail box printer Publisher
sends the file 10 pages at a time & the mail box clogs up
with files as we had a 8500 page document this ment we had
1000 file to print can publishe send a mail merge document
as 1 big file or part eg 1-1000 them 1001 2000 etc ?

That is how Publisher works and there is no way around it.
Suggest you print your merge to something like the Microsoft Office Document
Image Writer and then print from that, or Adobe Acrobat and make a PDF and
print from that.

To date nobody else has had any issues whatsoever with Publisher sending
batches of ten to a printer. May I suggest you see if there is an updated
printer driver for your mail box printer.

You may be able to accomplish this using the Registry Fix (courtesy of
KATMA).

Open registry using regedit.exe

Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Publisher\Printing

Create new "string value" called:
NumberOfRecordsPerBatch

Double click and set a value for your batch size (1000 in this case).
