Printing Post Cards w/ Mailmerge

I have tried to print Post cards with Publiser 2007 using mail merge and I
have run into two separate issues. First, I have been unsuccessful in
formatting both the front and back of the Post Card in the same publication.
Meaning. I have developed and formatted the entire front and back of the post
card in one publication, but have been unable to mail merge a mailing list
into this publication and have it print with 4 different address per page of
the print que. I got around this by forming two separate publications, One
for the front and the other for the back. My second issue, when i do a mail
merge with and try to print my post cards. I cant figure out whether i have
any control over the positioning of the separate address as the appear on the
printed page. Some sheets come out with only 3 address while others come out
with four. Also when i mail merge, and then try to print the document, the
program will start to print and at some point stops with out printing
everything I merged. basically, I am asking if anyone can tell me how i can
print sets of Post cards being sent out to customer lists of 400 + in one
print cycle.

Are you creating separate text boxes for the merge information? All the
information should be in the same text box.

In step 3 convert the merge to a new publication. Go to File, Print, change all
the settings here, zero margins, zero gaps, landscape, multiple pages per sheet,
there is a print preview on this screen, if the settings are correct it will
view and print correctly. Turn the stack over and print side two.

I've found that you make your postcard (page 1 front & page 2 back) with your
page set up as the postcard, 4 per page setting. Edit, select all page one &
past into a new blank document. Edit, select all on page two & past into the
same blank formated document as page two. Then do your mail merge & set up
your insertion fields for the merge. BEFORE YOU COMPLETE THE MERGE...Go to
page set up & switch it to postcard, 4 per page. double check your spacing /
formating since it probably isn't totally lined up with the correct margins.
MERGE & selsct print from the merge task screen. Preview your print and it
should print 4 seperate contacts on one front page plus if you are duplex
printing page two should be on the back as you intended it.

Do you have any experience with adding addresses to Newsletters / booklet
center staple printing? I am having trouble with that...
