Is it possible to print to a single post card with publisher or do you need
to always print to mutlple card sheets? I have been doing this for years
with print shop with ease bnut publisher doesn't appear to be able to.

Setup the page manually... Custom, input 5.5 x 4.25.

If you are using a whole page of cards and only want to print one, set your page for
landscape, arrange, two rows, two columns.

I am trying to print on a stack of post cards they are single cards not on
sheets. I need to know what setting to use so publisher doesn't think the
card is in the center of an 8 by 11 sheet. I have tried the maunal setting
but it just shrinks the print area to print in the center of the custom size
paper. So far the only thing that comes close is to tell it I am printing
envelopes but the margins are quite right and the printing doesn't center
properly

Don, Thats what I am trying to do but I haven't figured out what setting to
use. No matter what setting I use paper type, paper size it seem to want to
print more then one a sheet. If I do tell it to print one per sheet it
centers it in the print area even if I tell it is 4x6. Can you tell me what
setting you use to get publisher to print on cards not on a sheet with
multpile cards per sheet.

From what you say you are using an 8½"x11" sheet with multiple cards
on it.

Don, from what I can see from dspears's posting he/she is printing on single
cut cards, and as such will need to set their printer setup to the size of
the card.

Provided the printer setup is set to the size of the card, Publisher will
not attempt to print multiple cards per sheet and everyone will be happy.

You need to make sure that both Publisher and your printer are set up for
that size stock. Doing one and not the other will not work (as you've seen).

I have done everything suggested to get one post card to print and no matter
what I do, only 3/4 of the page prints. Did someone say printshop is better?
I have had it with MS publisher
