Printing Problem in Visio

Rene

I am using Visio Professional 2003. I scanned a engineering drawings in PDF.
Convert it to jpg format. I was able to insert it to a Visio drawings. I
inserted multiple texts and objects. I am able to print the Visio drawings
to PDF. However, when I try to print directly from the Visio sofware to my
HP Laser printer, the print out does not include the drawing image. I prints
all the text and objects I introduce to the Vision drawing but the original
engieering drawing imported as jpg prints like a big rectangle with a cross.
Strange, since I can see it very well in the monitor, but it will not print
to the printer.

Does it show in Print Preview?
Check the document's layers, are they set to enable print?
Does the image show if you SaveAs in a graphics (e.g. GIF) format?

Along with Paul's suggestions, sometimes the red X means that the source of
the picture could not be found.
Was the picture copied into the drawing or linked (the link to the
picture may be broken)?
