printing problems

If I create or open an existing multi page doc, randomly, it will sometimes
print only one page and show only one page in print preview. It can then be
cut and pasted into a new doc and work. This completely random...sometimes
works with new/existing, sometimes doesn't.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Go to Format | Columns and select the button for One (even if it appears to
be selected already).
