Printing Resource Usage Report

Alex

I am attempting to print a Resource Usage report from Project 2000. The
project has a very long timeline and I want to only print a specific
date range. I enter the date range on the Print dialog box, however the
print preview and print out both contain the entire date range. Should
I be defining the date range on another dialog box? Is this a bug in
2000? if so, does 2003 address this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Alex

Hi,

No, setting the date range in File, Print should work. Does it work in Print
preview? If so, then there may be a printer driver fault. Can you test on
another printer?

I don't have 2000 available to test, but it certainly works in 2003.

Printing with P2K was a nightmare of frustration. About all that could be
said of it was that it was less awful than P98. P2K3 printing is much less
awful; you usually get what you expected.

Thanks for the info. I have attempted to view the report in Print
Preview, but it is too large to fit on the page. When I do select the
scaling to 200%, the preview starts at the begining of the project
instead of the define date.

Can you lead me to a evaluation version of Project 2003 to determine if
I should get the upgrade?

Thanks,

Alex
