Hi,

we have a printer and 4 PC's who are connecting to the printer.
One of the PC's has the version 2004 and the other have the version 2008.
All the PC's with version 2008 can print of all the printertrays and the pc with version 2004 can only print out tray 3.
This is an office problem, because with that pc we can print out all of the tray's when we are using mail/Daylite instead of word/excel.

Do someone knows what the problem is?

Thanks,
Maja

The blame for Printing issues of this nature rarely rests with the program
in which you experience the problem - it's simply that program's misfortune
to have to inform you that the problem exists :)

IOW: Just because you can print from other programs doesn't mean the problem
lies with the program where you experience the problem. Printing is a
function of the OS, the printer & its driver software which is simply called
for by the program in use, but different programs call for various levels of
print services. If those services aren't made available it isn't the
program's fault.

The first thing to check is whether there is an updated printer driver
available from the mfr's web site. Likewise, make sure the version of OS X
is fully updated as well as the Office software itself. Once everything is
fully updated, repair disk permissions & restart the Mac. If there is no
driver update - or if the most recent update doesn't resolve the problem -
reinstall the printer, as driver software is prone to corruption. You might
also look into the printer mfr's support site to see if other users with
comparable configurations are experiencing the same type of problems.

You're most welcome... And thanks for taking the time to confirm!
