Problem replying to posts

I am having a problem "replying" to posts in this forum. Yesterday when I would send a "reply", I would get runtime error page. Today when I try, I get a Microsoft page which says - Sorry, we were unable to service your request. Well, at least they are sorry. Has anyone else had this problem? I though maybe it was a firewall issue so I turned off my firewall to see if that was the problem, but that did not help. I have really found this forum helpful and infomative so I would like to join in. THANKS for any help you can provide!

note: I have not had any problem sending a "new" post. Problem is only related to when I "reply" to a post.

You're using the web interface which frankly has many warts. If you have
Outlook Express or another news reader, you can access the server directly
and have a more pleasant experience. See the following for more

Once again you have come to my rescue. Thanks for all your help. This is
much better than using the web interface.

Whoopee! We're always glad to win someone over to the "real" way to access
the newsgroups.

Just a note though. By using your real email address, you might see an
increase in spam and virus notes in your inbox. You can prevent that by
doing the following:

In Outlook Express, go to Tools > Accounts > News > msnews.microsoft.com >
Properties and change your email address to some invalid, but "look alike"
address. Example: DonDJ@don'tyouwishyouknew.com. That'll keep Outlook
Express happy and now the spam "harvesters" that search newsgroups and
websites for email addresses, will send all their garbage intended ofr you
to that address and you'll never see it.

Since newsgroups don't communicate by email, we don't need to know your
address. If you do want someone to drop you a line for some reason, in your
post you can request that they send it to donDJ123 at aol dot com. The
automated harvesters won't recognize that as an email address.

Yes, I had read about not supplying actual e-mail address. This is not my
actual e-mail address.

Maybe that's the goal? It's crossed my mind before ... but those pesky
spammers never hand out real addresses. Darn.

If it's any comfort, there is no (e-mail address removed) yet. Yes, I tested it.
