Problem sending mail

R

Rob

All of a sudden when I hit send/receive or try to send a
new Internet message I get a pop up window that says "The
POP3 Server Name you specified cannot be found"...

I have used this POP3 server name for a while with no
problems. I contacted my ISP and he told me to log into
their website and send an email, and I did with no
problems. I've shutdown Outlook and restarted, I've
rebooted the PC, I've done a complete shutdown, I've
removed the Internet email in Services and re-created it,
but still the same thing happens.

I have Internet connectivity and I can even ping the mail
server with no issues whatsoever. Can somebody please
give me some advice, it would be greatly appreciated. It's
Outlook 2000.

Thanks.
