Problem using Access to update Project

I'm not very familiar with project but I know access well.


I have been given the task of updating a project file
using access.

I am updating dates for tasks using access querys.

After the updates are complete I use project open the mdb
as a mpp.

The changes for the task dates are there, everything looks
good.

But the milestone dates which are supposed to change
automatically based on the task dates aren't changing.

Its like project doesn't know the dates have been changed
since the changes were made in access.

Also, If you try to change the milestone dates manualy,
the updated task dates(dates changed in access) reset to
the selected milestone dates.

Has anyone seen this before?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

OK. I printed all the 75 pages. But I'm a newbie in Project trying to access
a project mpp file via access.
In Access, how can I open this file?
