Problem with import/export map

Hi,

When I click on Project Professional 2003 in start menu, I get error
message:
An unexpected problem occured with the application.
There is a problem with import/export map.

I can't go in to the application at all.
Does anyone know why this should happen?

Thanks.

abhi,
My guess is that your Global file is corrupt. I suggest you find the
active Global and delete it. Don't worry, Project will automatically
generate a new generic Global file when you re-start Project. What you
will lose is any custom views, tables, filters, etc. that you have
generated.

Depending on which Windows version you are using, the active Global may
be in different places. I use WIndows XP Pro and mine is located in,
C:\Documents and Settings\John\Application Data\Microsoft\MS
Project\11\1033.

Hope this helps.
