I am converting an Access 97 app to Access 2002/SQL Server as an Access
project. I want to set some columns in my tables as lookup columns. In
Access, I set all the properties appropriately, but if I open the table in
datasheet view, the column appears as a combo box, but the list that drops
down is empty. There ARE records in the related code table.
I do have the relationships set between the tables, but it makes no
difference. I have compared what I am doing to what is in the "Northwind"
sample database, and can see no difference. Why doesn't this work? I can't
see for the life of me what I am missing. About the only factor I can think
of is that my tables got into SQL Server via the Access Upsizing Wizard.
