Hello All,
I am currently having an issue with the forms cache
in Outlook 2003. Here is my configuration:
Server: Windows 2003 Server running Exchange 2003 Server
Client: Windows 2000 Professional running Outlook 2003.
The issue I'm having is very specific. Our goal is
to utilize the side-by-side calendar display features in
Outlook 2003 with a users calendar as well as a calendar
in another user account. The users calendar will use the
default form (IPM.Appointment) to add/modify appointments
in it's calendar. The calendar in the other user account
will be running a custom form published in an
Organizational Forms library on the server. Everything
seems to work well while running these two side-by-side in
the account. The problem begins when that user logs out
and another user not set up in the above mentioned way
logs in.
This other user logs onto the same machine, runs
Outlook 2003, and creates a new appointment in their
calendar. When this user logs off and the original user
logs on, starts Outlook, and attempts to create an event
in the shared calendar, Outlook complains that it can't
find the custom form and it will use a default form
instead. Once I clear the forms cache however, all
appears to be well again. The form installs and loads
properly.
Is there a way to delete the forms cache after a user
logs out so that I can prevent this issue from occuring?
Better yet, can I introduce some type of isoloation /
seperation between users so that their forms caches don't
conflict? Any help or suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
