Problem with Publisher to PDF Conversion

I am using MS Publisher 2003 and Adobe Acrobat Standard 6.0.
I am converting Publisher files to PDF files.
The problem I am encountering is that I am starting to see changes in my
embedded graphics that are in my Publisher files. They are showing up
modified in the PDF files, even under the high quality options. The customer
support at Adobe was not very helpful.

Any suggestions?
