problems converting 2003 projects to 2007

We are converting our 2003 projects (very large and linked across projects)
to 2007. Any known issues that we should be aware of?

Yes, I advise making sure Project 2003 is at SP3 and Project 2007 at SP1.
project 2003 SP3 can read project 2007 files so you can open the resulting
2007 file to compare final results for any unexpected changes.

Hi, I am presently running on SP2 (due to the problems with SP3) and we are
shortly moving to 2007. Is SP3 paramount to the success of a smooth
transition with upgrading to 2007? Thanks.

Hello Rowie,

I would most likely not use the word "paramount" :). The significant
issue with SP-3 is it gives the ability to open a file created in
Project 2007 and saved as a Project 2007 file. A 2007 user can always
save as Project 2003 file type. I would strongly encourage SP-1 on
2007 however -- that is, in my opinion, paramount to the success use
of Project 2007.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
