Problems Opening Word attachments from Outlook

When opening a Word XP document attachment in Outlook XP an MS Word message
appears asking if "Do you want to merge changes in 'BlahBlah1' back into
'drive letter:\BlahBlah.doc"?

Could not find anything relating to this in the MS KB.

Any Ideas folks?
