Problems with buttons after Windows Service Pack 2

Steve Roberts

I have a very simple intranet page that has some hover buttons with hyper
links on it. After installing Windows Service Pack 2, there are only little
red X's where the buttons should be. If I click on the area where the button
should be it does nothing. If I right click and select open it follows the
hyperlink. If I right click and select save target as it allows me to save
the file that the hyperlink points to. When I open the page in FrontPage, it
shows the buttons until I do a preview then the buttons go away.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Steve

Hover buttons are Java applets and SP2 doesn't have a JVM. You can
download a JVM from SUN.
A better option is to not use Hover buttons but change to Javascript
mouseovers or Interactive buttons(FP2003).
