problems with discussion groups

I rely on the office discussion groups to help answer questions and teach
others how to use it. However, the links are not easily found on the "Help
and How to" tab at office.microsoft.com anymore. I did finally find "office
community" at the bottom but have had problems with it working properly.
Seems I click on a link and it is very slow or locks up. I gave up late
yesterday and tried again early this morning and still have problems. I
wonder if this is a problem with the site or my computer network. Have others
had this problem too?

It might help to empty your temporary cache. In Internet Explorer, Tools,
Internet Options, delete, delete files.

Click on this link. It should bring up this discussion group in Outlook
Express or Windows Mail. Then right click on msnews.microsoft.com to add
more discussion groups.

While I agree with the others that it's easier to read these groups using a
newsreader (Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Forte Agent, etc.), I understand
your frustration.

When I go to http://office.microsoft.com and hit Help and How-to on the top
tabs, then I can see an box for Office Community on the lower right corner
of the main page area (instead of the links clear at the bottom of the
page). Clicking "Discussion Groups: Get answers from other Office users"
takes me to the main discussion groups page. Maybe you can bookmark/favorite
that page?

They keep moving these links, which I personally find frustrating. They used
to be in the list over on the left.
