Problems with IMAP account and quit unexpectedly when import

Hello,
Today my entourage started acting up on my IMAC. I have an IMAP account from
my university in entourage and everything was working fine until this
morning when all my files from my IMAP account started to move to my Inbox
(Folders on my computer) rather than the inbox for my IMAP account. I have a
number of folders attached to this account and the files from there started
to move to the inbox (folders on my computer). Then when I receive a new
message for my IMAP account it goes to the inbox (folder on my computer) and
the deleted items on my interchange folders rather than the inbox on my IMAP
account like it normally does and does so on my MACBOOK. So I decided to
delete the accounts and re-put them on my computer and now when I try and
import from apple mail the program shuts down and states it quit
unexpectedly, everytime. I have added the accounts (my mac account,
interchange (IMAP), and Shaw--POP) back onto the program and the problem
persists. I tried to press option when starting up the program and hit
repair but that did not work. I used disk utility on office and that did not
work. I am not sure what the problem is or how to fix it. Please help.

I can watch the email come to my IMAP inbox it crosses out and moves to the
inbox (folders on my computer) and deleted items on my IMAP folder.
Please help!!
Crystal

Sorry, I found an email on multiple inboxes and fixed the problem of my
messages moving from one inbox to another. However, the problem with the
program quitting unexpectedly when I try and import persists. I am not sure
what to do. Thanks, Crystal

Check your Rules. There are 3 different kinds of rules. The Mailing List
Manager, Junk Mail Filter and Rules. They run in the order listed. It
sounds like you have a rule that is moving the message.

The most likely culprit is the Mailing List Manager (MLM). It's very easy to
set up a MLM rule by accident, when you are marking a message as 'not junk'.
The wording of that dialog is ambiguous to say the least. Check if there is
an MLM entry (look for MLM entries under the tools menu) with the local
Inbox as the target folder. You can select to use the Mailing List Manager
(MLM) rule or your custom rule. Mailing List Manager rules run before your
other rules. Under Tools in the menu bar select Rules

To check your IMAP rules select the IMAP tab under Rules.
