Problems with Outlook Connector and Outlook 2003

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forums here and I'm looking for some advice. I've used
Outlook 2003 (on Vista 32 bit) with Outlook Connector and my hotmail
(Microsoft Office Small Business) email account for nearly a year
without any issues.

Lately, I noticed that I'm not receiving emails and also I can't send,
the emails just stick in the Outbox. Working directly from my hotmail
account in a web browser is fine.

Also there are strange little things like the 'Work Offline' option has
vanished from my 'File' menu and the 'Send/Receive' button has
disappeared. I've tried downloading the latest version of Outlook
Connector (12.1 Beta) but it didn't help. I've unistalled/repaired
Microsoft Office and had no joy there either. The Live Mail support
desk say that everything is set up fine on my account too.

I think my only option is to format my computer and then re-install MS
Office from scratch but this seems a bit excessive and I'm not sure if
it would actually achieve anything?

I've now set up the same system on my laptop and it works sometimes but
not others and the calendar can't syncronize, but I can live with that!

Any suggestions for a way to fix this, or if formatting my PC is likely
to achieve anything? I tried a rollback to a restore point from last
week but that failed.

Al.
