Progress line showing Physical % Complete

Is there a way to make the Progress Line show Physical % Complete instead of
% Complete? I can change it on the task bar but not on the button that is in
the Tracking toolbar. I use Project 2007.

No, there is no way to make the Update as Scheduled button to show Physical
% Complete instead of % Complete, nor is there any way to program any of
these other buttons to work this way on the Tracking toolbar as well. So,
my advice is to ditch the toolbar entirely and to insert the Physical %
Complete in the task View you use to update progress. Then you can manually
type the Physical % Complete value for each task as needed. Also, when you
say you "can change it on the task bar" did you do the following:

1. Apply the Gantt Chart view.
2. Double-click anywhere in the white part of the Gantt Chart.
3. In the Bar Styles dialog, select the Physical % Complete field in the To
column for the Progress item.
4. Click OK.

The above actions will show the Progress bar as representing the Physical %
Complete value instead of the Complete Through value. Hope this helps.

Hi. I have no problems with putting in the numbers for Physical % Complete on
each task or to show it on each task bar. But what I´m missing is a
possibility to show the "vertical" Progress line for Ph. % Compl. instead of
% Complete like the button named Progress line on the Tracking toolbar. Do
you understand what I mean?

Duh! After re-reading your original post, NOW I understand your question.
Sorry for the confusion! :) Unfortunately, Progress Lines are set to show
% Complete and there appears to be no way to set them to show Physical %
Complete. Sorry. Hope this helps.
