Prohibit hard returns

B

Becky

I have a protected form which is in table form but I would
like to prohibit the user from using hard returns
(pressing the Enter key) in the fields. The reason I'd
like to prevent this is because when people use hard
returns, it will affect the pagination of the document.
Is there any way to prevent hard returns in a document?

Yes and no. You can't stop the user pressing the enter key, but you can fix
the cell size so that the excess text disappears without stretching the
table. The user then gets the idea that he/she can't do that :)
