Hi

1 In my indicators it says task is completed but actually the task is not
completed yet. Why this is happening and how to avoid it ?

2 when ever I group several subtasks under a task the duration of the task
is indicated in weeks and not in days and I am not allowed to change it ? How
do I change it to days

Hi Anand,

1. If you are using the Update Project command, it is possible that the task
was marked complete due to its scheduled completion date. If the task is
not complete, view the Tracking table and change the remaining duration as
needed.

2. You can format the duration of summary tasks through Tools > Macro >
Macros. Select the Format_Duration macro, and click the Run button. Select
Days.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

You're welcome Anand and thanks for the feedback.

I'm not sure I understand your comment about the first question - "I
couldn't solve the first one." Are you using the command Update Project
through the Tools > Tracking > Update project menu? If tasks are being
marked complete and you don't think they should be, you may need to change
how you are tracking in Project. Instead of using commands such as the
Update Project command, you might want to display the Tracking table (left
side of Gantt chart view) and supply the tracking data task by task.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
