project 2003 crashes when opening files

Hi,

One of our users is opening Microsoft Project files and Microsoft Project
2003 reports an error and immediately closes without opening the file. I have
found a similar issue on the Microsoft knowledge base, but this is for
Project 2002 which gives the solution of applying a hotfix.

Does anyone have any ideas why this might be occurring for Project 2003?

Have you got Service Pack 2 installed? Help/About Microsoft Office Project
and check the version includes SP2.
