Project 2007 Calendar Prob.

This could simply be pebcak. I change a resource's calendar work time
(Options, Calendar tab) to 7hr/day and 35 hr/week and it's still bringing
the fellow (err, resource) out at 8hr/day. What am I missing? (Note, the
change to 7hr day doesn't show in the change working time screen. I've
change project base "Standard" & individual resources' workingtime without
change in timeline to 7hr days).

Hi Bill,

The settings in Tools > Options do not change the working hours per day.
See FAQ #5 "Default Working Hours" at:
http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

I am not sure from your post if you actually changed the calendar
through Tools > Change Working time, but you will need to change the
number of working hours there as well. The FAQ is for earlier releases
of Project (prior to 2007) To change the working time in 2007:

Tools > Change Working Time
Click the Work Weeks tab towards the middle part of the dialog box.
Click the Details... button
Select Monday through Friday in the "Select day(s): list
Click the radio button for "Set day(s) to these specific working times"
and enter your working hours.
Click OK to close the dialog box and return to the Change Working Time
dialog box.
Select any working day and confirm the working times listed to the right
side are correct.
Click OK to close the Change Working Time dialog box.
