project 98 is changing my default printer

I'm choosing a different printer than my default when
printing a project. File/Print/PrinterName
This changes my default printer. Why?

I can choose different printers than the default in
Microsoft Word of other programs, but it does not change
the default printer, so I'm writing this off as a Project
98 problem.

Operating System: WinXP Pro, SP 1.
