Project Duration / Hours

I want to track a project in two ways. 1.) How many
business days will it take to finish (No problem here, I
use the Duration Column and the standard calendar)? 2.)
What is the total hours it will take to complete each
task? This is where I am having an issue. I add the
hours per task no problem but every time I mark a task as
100% complete, it changes the task Actual Work column to 8
hrs. How do I mark a task complete without it changing
the amount of time that was originally entered?

Shawn --

Enter the Actual Work it took to complete the task, and then set the
Remaining Work to 0 hours. Project will automatically calculate that the
task is 100% complete. Hope this helpsl.
