Project has gone crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have lost my mind. I have a group of activities that will keep pushing out
6 months. The issue is not resources ( it has none), constraint is ASAP there
is not constraint date (obviously), it is not a mile stone, it has no
predecessor. If I delete it and then reinsert a new activity the date jumps
back to Dec this year. Darn it! I do this for a living and I have no freaking
idea! I change the date and it moves back. I give a % complete at today and
then re-Zero the percent and it jumps back to Dec. The summery that it is
under is not the issue. I do not level this schedule but I have unleveled it
anyway.

So I checked: resource, constraint, summery constraint, leveling, milestone,
Task type is fixed duration and the items keep jumping to Dec. I mean new
items inserted do the same thing. If I go to elsewhere in the schedule this
does not happen. This is a 1200 line doc.

I am sure this is so simple that I will cry but for now I am under the gun.

20 minutes after I posted I figured it out. I had hidden summery items. I
told you all that it would be simple. I feel dumb.

Bob,
Never feel dumb, even we supposed experts slap our foreheads from time
to time. I sure have and as I recall, so have some of the other guys
