Project Pro 2003

I have Project Server 2003 installed on our 2003 SBS network. Upon creating a
task list and attempting to convert it to a project I discovered I need
Project Pro 2002 or Office Project Pro 2003 installed to achieve this. My
question is: must I purchase a CAL for each computer on my network when
purchasing one of these additional softwares or is one CAL sufficiant, and is
there a way to install the client software across the network? Thanks

All your scheduling must be done in Project Professional. Project Server
comes with 5 CALS for Project Web Access.

Creating a Task list is not a schedule, Project Server is trying to open
Project Professional to put the Task into then let you re-schedule them with
links, resources etc.

jermert501,
This newsgroup is focused primarily on the standalone desktop
installation of Project. You might get an answer here but you will
likely have better luck by posting to our sister newsgroup:
microsoft.public.project.server.
