Project Server 2007 Installation Issue

I am trying to install Project Server 2007 Beta 2 on a stand alone domain
controller. The installation works up until task 8 of 10 of the Configuring
SharePoint Products and Technologies. I have chosen the installation for a
standalone scenario since I need to be able to demo directly from my laptop.
Prior to the installation, I loaded .Net 2.0 Framework and Windows for
Workflow Foundation 2.2 runtime components. I am logged in as the
Administrator (ProjectServer\Administrator). I continue to get the following
error: An exception occurred while provisioning Shared Service Provider
'SharedServices1'. System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Cannot open database
"SharedServices1_DB_afc446ba-0a70-4ca9-aa9d-e6da9f5f550b" requested by the
login. The login failed.
Login failed for user 'PROJECTSERVER\Administrator'.

Really need help. Thanks.

GPop:

Is "PROJECTSERVER" the domain name? If it's the local machine account, then
try using a domain admin account.

PROJECTSERVER is the domain name (projectserver.test.com) and Administrator
is a domain admin account.

GPop:

The stand-alone install isn't available in the beta. Even if you install on
a single server, you need to use the farm option.

Thanks Gary. Another question, just to confirm the steps in setting it up on
one server, are the following steps correct:

Install .Net Framework 2.0
Install Windows Foundation workflow Beta 2 runtime components
Install Project Server 2007 Beta 2 choosing server farm deployment (option 1)
Uninstall WFW
Install .Net Framework 3.0
Install Project Server 2007 Beta2 TR

At a high level, are those steps correct?

Why do you uninstall WFW after installing it?
