How can I store my email inbox and folders on my local
hardrive?

Do you want to just store items or have your mail delivery to be to your
PST?

Go to File/Archive the saved .pst file will be saved to
your local settings folder, stored in your local profile
in the Documents and Settings folder on the local drive.
