pst files????????

I did the "file, open, open data file" from outlook. It
did open a new contacts folder, but there are no contacts
in there. The file size is 448 KB. Any idea where the
contacts may have gone to?

That's pretty much an empty file based on it size. If you are opening a new
file, of course it would be empty.
Try opening the PST that contains said Contacts.
