Pub 2002 pictures

None of the pictures, or objects show up in my working file (no matter which
file or what format of publication I'm in). They will print correctly, but it
is very difficult to work with when you can't see what you're doing. The
pictures are not hidden. I've tried rebooting and reinstalling publisher and
nothing works. Occasionally, when I open the file, the pictures do show up,
but I can't figure out what I'm doing differently then, and the next time I
go to open it, the pictures will be gone again.

Please help! This is very frustrating.

If view, picture, detailed display isn't the answer then it is your video driver.

Do this, slide down the acceleration on your video adapter, control panel, display
folder, settings tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab.
If sliding the acceleration helps, then go the manufacturer's web site and look
around for an upgraded driver.
