Public Folders

Whenver we try to open the Public Folders on Outlook
(2000 / XP); we receive the following error message:

" Unable to expand the Folder. The set of Folders could
not be opened. The attempt to log on to the Microsoft
Exchange Server has failed."

Does anyone have any idea? I have Exchange 2000 SP3.
