I have an Window ME box and have an OEM version of office
97. I have purchased a stand alone version of publisher
2000. The publisher keeps assuming an oem pruduct number
of another software so the numbers I got from microsoft
registraion people to activate it don't work because it is
using the oem number. First it was from the office
suite. so I tried using the utility cleanup software.
that didn't work. I uninstalled both. and reinstalled
publisher without the office package. that didn't work
thats when it started using another oem number.
