Publisher 2002 Printing greetings cards

Hi We use Pub 2002.

The problem: Borders change is all views

The greetings card is produced, page set up adjusted for paper size and
printer, jpeg picture imported and adjusted to fit the page with an equal
border, this is then viewed in print preview which shows the borders
differently, adjustments are made to ensure the print preview borders are now
correct. The file is printed to the Lexmark 5470 but the result is differing
border sizes to both print preview and the original non adjusted card in Pub
2002.

We have tried to resolve unsuccessfully, using different pictures, resized
the picture, printed to a different printer with new printer settings but
still the same result, wasted card due to borders being incorrect.

Help please

First thing to do is print your tests to plain paper. Cut to size if
necessary.
That way you can do many tests without worrying about card cost.

What greeting card setup are you using? Folded, tent? A template? It would be
helpful to know.

Usually when you are having the problem you seem to be having it is a margin
issue. Are you trying to print borderless? Your printer has a .5 bottom margin
limitation when not printing borderless.(right side if you are printing
landscape) Try setting your margin .5 all around and center your objects within
those margins. Use plain paper until you get it right.
