Greetings Cards

Hello
I am hoping someone can help me. I am using an Epson DX4850 printer. I am
inserting a photo or psd file on A4 top fold card (in half) and lining up all
the margins equal. I go to print preview and everything looks absolutely
fine. the card is on half of page with equal borders. Unfortunately, when I
print it out I have an 1" at bottom, 1/2" on left. 1/4" on right and 1/2" on
top - it looks terrible.
I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help me please.

Are you creating a folded card (four quarters) or a tent card? Are you trying to
create 2 cards per sheet if the creation is a tent card?
What version of Publisher? If you are using 2007, the page setup for a tent card
is not easy.

Hello Mary
Thank you for your reply. I am trying to do a tent card with one photo
covering the front of it either with a small border all round or none at all.
I am using Publisher 2007.
I look forward to hearing from you and thank you again for ytying to help me
out.

Have you tried setting up a custom size in your printer first? I have spent
several hours over the past few days trying to setup a tent card. I can get the
default size to work, A4. But I cannot get any custom size to work as a tent
card.

What can be done is a custom size in the printer, then do a page setup for that
size. Insert a page for the inside. Manually divide the page with Arrange,
Layout guides. I set the margin for .5 all around, on the grid guide tab I
specified 2 rows with the spacing one inch.

The back of the card will be on top of page 1. Rotate all objects, refer to
print preview to get it laid out how you want the card to look.

Post back if all this seems unclear. I can put a template on my web site if you
post your card dimensions.

Hello again Mary
Many thanks again for your response. I picked out another size of top fold
card from the selection and got it pretty much perfect. With your grid
suggestion it is now absolutely spot on.
I am so grateful to you for your help as it was getting to the stage of
chucking everything out of the window lol!!!
Thank you again for your trouble
