Have you installed the Office XP service packs? The above was corrected in Service
Pack 2.

Yes I have Service Pack 2. I have just reduced my fonts to 240 Am I meant
to move the ones with a fred A or leave them and choose others - instruction
is not clear. The problem still persists

Are you trying to edit an older version publication? Are you trying to save to a
removable disk?

Do you get an error reporting dialogue? If you do what does it say when you click
details?

I have no Network connections
I am not saving to a removable disc
Error signature: AppName: mspub.exe AppVer: 10.0.6308.0 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 00010f29
I have sent error report several times over several days but no comeback

Try this article, it doesn't address the save issue, but it has your error.
